Drainage
Yard drainage fixes, downspout drains and sewer line repair in Wilson and Sumner County.
OVERVIEW
Yard Drainage and Downspout Drains
A clogged or broken drain can send water where it shouldn’t go. On a recent job, a broken corrugated downspout drain was letting water into a customer’s crawl space, so we replaced all the downspout drains with hard pipe.
Do You Do Other Utility Work?
Yes: utility trenching, such as water and drain lines. We also repair sewer lines.

Can You Fix Water Getting Into My Crawl Space?
If a clogged or broken downspout drain is the cause, yes. On a September 2026 job, a broken corrugated drain was letting water into a crawl space, and Burris Excavation replaced all the downspout drains with hard pipe.
Why Hard Pipe Instead of Corrugated Drain?
Burris Excavation uses green PVC hard pipe for downspout drains. In Jamey’s words, it’s “heavier duty but also cheaper.”
Do You Do Sewer Line Repair?
Yes. On a September 2026 job, Burris Excavation dug up a sewer line, pulled roots from the pipe and backfilled the yard.
Will My Yard Be Left Torn Up?
After the trenching on the September 2026 downspout drain job, the front yard was graded smooth again.
